The Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) is organizing an introductory session on a fast-time simulation and modelling software known as “System for traffic Assignment and Analysis at a Macroscopic level (SAAM)”.
Under the ASEAN Air Transport Integration Project (AATIP), Singapore has been appointed to perform modelling and simulation to establish the infrastructure and traffic demand baseline for ASEAN Member States. ATMRI has obtained the software licence from EUROCONTROL. Through intense modelling and simulation works, ATMRI aims to play an instrumental role in the enhancement of regional airspace capacity in ASEAN, a project lead by Prof Zhong Zhaowei.
